Books like "Irreversible Damage" by Abigail Shier create a massive increase in harm to transgender children and are filled with false dichotomy and abusive ideology. They are a threat to the transgender community and invite others to spread more hate. About 41 % of transgender people commit suicide due to bullying. This cannot go on. Many lives are at stake and we need Amazon, Target, and other platforms to consider the actual irreversible damage this book will do to trans children, their parent's and other's mindsets and health, and take it down before it does more damage than it already has.

Please also note that being trans is officially not a mental disorder anymore. The WHO has replaced diagnostic categories like ICD-10's (International Classification of Diseases) "transsexualism" and "gender identity disorder of children" with "gender incongruence of adolescence and adulthood" and "gender incongruence of childhood."
