Our petition urges YouTube to take down a video by a Moroccan YouTuber who made transphobic and misogynistic statements about a Belgian-Moroccan transgender activist. Help us stand against hate and protect the rights of the LGBTQ+ community.

Update – 14 April 2023: We won this first victory: B3a9li's videos and channel have been removed! But we still need to make sure that this type of content is no longer allowed on YouTube.

We, the undersigned, are outraged by the transphobic, mysogynistic, bullying, and backwards statements made by Moroccan Youtuber Abdelouahed Benomar, also known as "B3a9li" in his Youtube video dated 08/03/2023, in which he misgendered and made derogatory comments about Belgian-Moroccan transgender rights activist Eden Ghali, in response to a DailyBuzz interview.

It is unacceptable that a public figure would use their platform to spew hate and intolerance towards the transgender community. We demand that Youtube takes immediate action to permanently remove the offensive video by B3a9li and hold him accountable for his hateful actions.

We call on Youtube to uphold its Community Guidelines, which prohibit hate speech and harassment, and to take a strong stance against transphobia, mysogyny, and bullying. It is important that online spaces are safe for everyone, including members of marginalized communities such as the transgender community.

We ask that you take this matter seriously and take appropriate action to protect the rights and dignity of transgender individuals. We stand with Eden Ghali and all transgender individuals who have been affected by hate speech and discrimination.

ندعو Youtube إلى الالتزام بإرشادات المجتمع الخاصة به ، والتي تحظر خطاب الكراهية والمضايقة ، واتخاذ موقف قوي ضد رهاب العابرين الجندريين، و التمييز الجنسي. من المهم أن تكون المساحات عبر الإنترنت آمنة للجميع ، بما في ذلك أفراد المجتمعات المهمشة مثل مجتمع العين.

نطالب بأخد هذا الأمر على محمل الجد وأن تتخذ الإجراء المناسب لحماية حقوق وكرامة الأفراد العابرين الجندريين.

We, the undersigned, are writing to urge you to take action against the spread of hate speech and bigotry on your platform. Specifically, we would like to draw your attention to a recent video posted by Abdelouahed Benomar, also known as "B3a9li", where he misgendered and made hateful comments towards Belgian-Moroccan transgender activist, Eden Ghali.
We strongly believe that such content violates Youtube's community guidelines, which clearly state that "hateful content is not allowed on Youtube." Moreover, the video is a direct attack on the rights of transgender individuals and sends a message of hate and intolerance to the wider community.

We urge you to take immediate action and remove the video from the platform permanently. Additionally, we ask that you take steps to ensure that such harmful content is not allowed on your platform in the future.

Youtube has the power to create positive change in the world and promote a message of inclusivity and acceptance. We implore you to use that power to protect the rights and dignity of all individuals, especially those who are most vulnerable to discrimination and hate.
