PA's legislators have been introducing laws that make discussing LGBTQ history, sexual orientation and gender identity in schools ILLEGAL and ban trans kids from participating in sports/using the facilities that match their gender. Our kids need us!

Following in the hateful pages of Florida and Texas, some in the PA Legislature are trying to score cheap political points by attacking LGBTQ kids, especially trans youth, with a series of bills that ban discussions of LGBTQ identity and history in school, ban trans kids from participating fully in school sports and facilities, and increase the mental health and bullying risks in our schools. Stand with the PA Coalition for Trans Youth and TAKE to Tell the PA Legislature: Stop Attacking Trans Kids! Schools are for education, not for discrimination. Every child deserves to be safe at school and seek an equal educational experience.

PA Legislators,

Here in Pennsylvania, we pride ourselves on strong public schools. As Public Servants, it is your sworn duty to oversee our schools with impartiality and a commitment to education and equality. Every student in Pennsylvania deserves a quality, safe, and equal education, including LGBTQ students. Stop trying to pass draconion, outdated, hateful laws that target and single out trans kids and threaten the mental health of our young people. Your job isn't to increase bullying, harassment, and discrimination in our schools: its to ensure EVERY child in PA can get a safe, quality education.
