Starbucks: Misgendering is NOT harassment?

For 9 years, Maddie she had a great job at Starbucks. But that all changed when she came out as a transgender woman.

Despite her clear requests to be referred to with female pronouns, her supervisor constantly called her "he," "dude," and "bro" in front of customers. He started cutting her hours and kept sharing extremely transphobic posts on social media. Maddie sought support from corporate, but nothing changed.

It became so demoralizing and devastating to have her identity disrespected day after day, she had to quit.

Maddie filed a lawsuit against Starbucks, but their lawyers refuse to admit that she was harassed. They even convinced the court that intentional misgendering didn't constitute harassment or discrimination. Now, Maddie's attorneys are filing an appeal.

Let's show Starbucks that thousands of people stand beside Maddie in saying that intentional misgendering is harassment and that it's unacceptable!
