Russia: “Our names are on an anti-LGBT+ blacklist.”

A Russian LGBT+ activist was murdered. Ask the authorities to bring the people behind the anti-LGBT+ blacklist to justice.

A Russian website has been encouraging its readers to hunt down dozens of Russian LGBT+ activists, supporters, and journalists.

On July 22, LGBT+ activist Elena Grigoryeva was found dead in St. Petersburg. She had received numerous threats, but when she reported them to the police, they ignored her.

The website is currently down, but every time it disappears, it comes back online a few weeks later.

Russian LGBT+ activists fear for their lives. Sign their petition and urge Russian authorities to bring the people behind the anti-LGBT+ blacklist to justice.

This campaign is being run in conjunction with Alliance of LGBT and heterosexuals for equality, Coming Out, Russian LGBT Network, Side by Side LGBT Film Festival, and Stimul.

A Russian group acting under the name "Saw" has published a website promoting a "Chechnya Comeback", referring to the wave of attacks against LGBT+ people in Chechnya.

The group has created an anti-LGBT+ blacklist, encouraging its readers to hunt down dozens of Russian LGBT+ activists, supporters, and journalists.

We urge you to investigate the group and its actions, to determine if there is a connection with the murder of Elena Grigorieva, and to bring the people behind the anti-LGBT+ blacklist to justice.
